DIGITAL MAGAZINE

For forth sessions of Sing, we all were introduced to some of more about illustrator and peer review with classmates. The purpose of this task is that build up understanding and it could be sort of inspiration by sharing our own works with colleagues. Firstly, we were already introduced with illustrator couple weeks ago, it was quite different compared past. It is quite new but slightly same with sketch-up. He taught us how to make coffee cup in 3D way and put image. I personally thought that it is much easier than sketch-up. it could reduce much time to create our work.Moreover, the functions of this program was easy too. After taking break, we all back and share our work in a group. I was not all ready to show my work. But, I introduced with my concept and set designs I done so far. some of my colleagues gave me a feedback that they love my concept and some of my pictures. In addition, I was also quite inspired from our classmates after seeing their works. Even we all addressed about ourselves, there were different and interesting topics and quality of works. Especially, how they edit and layout which I feel lack of doing it. we asked each other what they and I used for editing. It was great time to share and give feedback. it will be efficient time to develop my Zine. I could see a lots of variations of our colleagues and I wish I could do more abstract way and creativity. This is supposed to be what I need to and practice as my classmates.

In this self-styling shoots, firstly, before starting photography, I addressed the concept of the my daily routine for my own work. And, I was shooting with Stephanie with at this time, I just come up with the simple outfits but little trendy fashion elements such as blue colour and wide trousers. which I aim that where and how I spend time usually which I thought It will be directed into the my zine style. Moreover, I wanted to show the pictures clearly and in nature way. as it is the styling shoots that I wanted to focus on the outfits. During the photoshoot, every time I did was the challenge for me. I never get used to stand in from of camera and doing posing and face acting. I was really struggling with. However, as a result I could get satisfied photography with her. because she helped me lots for this photoshoot. And, I also did another styling shoot with Jumper and camel trousers. As it is one of my taste being classic I choose this one. And, I wanted to show the variety styling between casual and classical outfit. it contains the meaning that men also care the TPO; TIME, PLACE, OCCASION.

Lastly, photoshoot is always my best challenge ever. every time I do, I feel really not confidence and feel awkward. As my major it is not a styling or photography. I did not have the sense of attitude of model. however, once I will starting work with other colleagues. it will be feeling slightly more confidence and having accurate attitude with photoshoots. I will do improve myself on every fashion elements.

In this Easter SDS, we all were given to create the audience board. The purpose of making this is that target the public who I would like to deliver my message.

For my Zine, I focused on the myself that from years ago that I lost confidence. I thought that what if I ask people what would you like to say for yourself in the past ? Is there something else you want to fix or say you were missing. As it contains the story, I did not specifically set up the target people. But, one thing that I realised is the parents. As they are always supporting for my family member. And I wanted to know is there something my parents were missing apart of their life in the past. So that, I put some words from my friends and family who I asked if there is a chance to say yourself. Say to me and I can put in my audience board. Overall, I felt everyone might have something themselves and I would like to deliver the time that what they were missing.

as it is on self. I was craving the confidence that I lost years ago. I just come up with the flowers which has the meaning of the confidence itself. I felt that it will help to create the moodboard with the abstract way. I used the acrylic painting that I put the water and mixed randomly. and left how they mix together and how it look like. I aimed that it looked melted confidence that I went well as I purpose.

PPD

In this Easter SDS, we were given proposal to write. Actually, we all were given the questions that what we need to talk about generally, such as what we are planning for BA, what is the message of my work and the audience and so on.I basically focus on the kind of story telling that what I would like to say in my past to escape and destroy who I am not in my life. It is definitely challenge for rest of this University journey. And will figure out how to improve my weakness and work.

Proposal

If you have something you want to say to yourself in the past, what you willing to say? Some people can see themselves transformed by external effects without own will. How would you feel if you were different now from your past? In this zine, the word, that go back to the past and give to me, will be presented as elements that show the process of changing from the present to the shape you want with conceptual mood. For me, I would like to say myself in past is ‘Do not lose your confidence’ and, I will take the confidence as a main keyword to show my other tastes.

This zine is not targeting for a particular customer. It is for all of us that I would like to share a message as biggest parts of identity from me. Moreover, I do not look at commercial elements. I aim to as one of the art works. The confidence is not only concept of this zine, but I mostly focus on that I would like to tell me in over years ago. I had such a difficult time when I was younger. At that time, I faced a lot of negative effects from others that caused me lost confidence. It led me not to do what I want and want to be.

I always cared other people’ thoughts and way how they think and see me. However, as time goes by, I realised that if I had not that experience, how would I have been different compared with now. However, What I want to share the message is that ‘You deserve to be confidence” as mentioned above. It will be totally different style than I used to do for term 2. I would be much bolder rather than minimalism and classical mood. By focusing on abstract styling and photography, I would like to find some memorable images to deliver people and, it can be one of the beneficial effects for my personal skills in near future.

As I aim to Creative Director for BA, I would like to show abstract and artistic energy for my works rather than concentrate on commercial elements. Moreover, I want people to think by seeing my works and understand my message. To succeed such as various elements, I want to take off the minimal tendencies with confidence and utilise the elements that I am usually into but could not use to make the most of my ability by utilising innovative and challenging features unlike the results shown in Term2. In addition, what I will manage my term 3 plan is to focus on more photoshoots with well-matched location based on outside and abstract way and developing my weakness such as layout and understanding more magazine content for my zine. Moreover, I will set up the schedule based on each session to make sure more work with various contents.

For the third sessions of Sing, we all were given skills for sketch-up. the purpose of learning this is to build up PR events by using the external tour at barbican.
Sketch-up is one of the programmes to make space production such as PR events, POP UP store and so on. It will help not only me but also people to see and get interest in advance who will attend these space when it launched. Moreover, it could be utilised for Interior designers and students and even architecture. So, I find that it is an essential skills to learn based on design and, It would be great skills for my major for BA as well. Moreover, these days, what I learnt in Sing’s classes, those experience were sort of  first time to do which were remarkable time. Obviously, during his classes, I was struggling with following what he mentioned. But, I gradually made it properly. We all made kind of buildings as practices circle, triangle and square column. After that, we were given time to create our own PR events. even though it was very difficult tasks, it was such as useful experience.
Overall, in order to develop with this skill, I will definitely need to practice as mush as I can, it will help to broaden ideas and layout how I need to create to deliver convince for audience when they visit. Moreover, I can collaborate with other field workers to design special events in near future.

For the second sessions of Sing. we continued the Premier Pro for our independent project and create the animation skills. First of all, for me, it was the first time to address animation elements in my life. It was such a great experience with. And, Sing mentioned that creating the animation, the keyframe is the most important things with. This is because, there will be a change depends on feature of objects that makes animations supplement and play smooth. Personally, I find that it was such a complicated subject. After that, we all made short video by creating polygon. it moves upper and down and very end of that all polygon comes together which was super interesting. In addition, after creating short video, we moved to design our own short film. Since, i was thinking to make a short video for social PR such as Instragram, sing tole me that develop the sounds and effects. So, I directly did what I suggested that. It went right. However, I need to develop for my independent works.
Overall, it was such a great opportunities what we learnt in this session, it was quite interesting that I never knew it. I firmly believe that it will be amazing skills for my BA as I am planing VM. But, obviously, I will need to have a look for other tutorials and kind of Youtube to develop my skills. I will cover my filming and editing skills which now I am struggling with.

For the first session of Sing, we were all introduced to 2 programmes named Flipsnack and Issu which are helpful to make our own Zine in digital formal. Moreover, we all are taught about preimer Pro to film. Firstly, when it comes to Issu, I thought that it is such a great value to create our own magazine. As it helps to reduce massive printing and paper. It is really effective programmes not only for me but also everyone. we all need to be encouraged with this programmes in further more. However, as it is the website. there is kind of extra charge of technical function. Secondly, in order to Premier Pro, Sing gave us general knowledge of filming and how to make a film. In addition, we all know now how important music is with the filming and rhythm. I was quite interested in this programmes. I always wanted to create and film my own taste video to develop my skills for my major in near future.

In overall, I really enjoyed with Sing class. Firstly, as I am planning to do VMD for BA this year, IT class is one of the most essential skills to help my portfolio. However, I will need to understand properly for all these elements from his classes to improve my knowledge and perspective ideas for creating such as films, movies and so on. I deeply believe that it will be so much helps for myself in next few years.
