Session 1
In terms of session 1, we were introduced about full PR package which include insta squares, film, propose, press release, and invitation.
For the first time, It was not really sure what I need to write about press release. But, I gradually realised that what and how I need to address. It is the statement that promotes the event of magazine or brand.
Moreover, I come up with the invitation which I really enjoyed. Before we started making ourselves, Suzanne gave us some samples from Gucci. Obviously, the sample was really impressive. Mostly we know that Gucci has kind of maximalism of fashion. But, I personally found that event they put the lots of patterns on the card, I did feel that is too much. It was well-matched with colours. So, I also realised that even the invitation can have lots of colours and pattern which I was thinking in totally different way. And the second time, we all had the review with Suzanne, I guess it was the first time show my work with her. However, I got some great feedback from her that I made which was set design. She gave me that I quite well expressed in abstract way that I always need to think and take for long time. During this session, I was once again reminded that what it is my weakness and strengthens
Session 2
In this session of the week 4 was with Carlyn which was continue the work an d reviewing the works. In addition, it was preparation for creating my blog before we takes Fiona’s class. Carlyn introduced the sample of my blog from different year media students. She recommended us to create as our theme and being more abstract and do not be afraid to create. It is our own aesthetic vision. After that, we had the time to keep working on our independent works. I worked so much as after having pre-review with Carlyn, she suggested me to do set designs and more props for my Ba so that I was working on creating space based on my concept that I had do edit after finishing creating my space design. And this week, I shown her my set design. Finally, she got what I wanted to do. And she always wanted me to be comfortable when I working on it. Moreover, she also mentioned that what I can do in the future as a VM designer.
I am deeply happy that I look like VM designer and Carlyn and Suzanne said too.
In addition, Carlyn, she moves around the check all our classmates work and tried to feedback to them to help finding out for their suitable major for BA in this year. This week, I got an offer for Ba that I realised there are so much interesting that I can commit to and work hard such as set designs and branding working with companies and clients in the future.
