session 1
Finally, we are all back from Easter Break. For the first session, we were given time to create concept board that make clear at how my independent work will be. In this term3 , all of works will be independent works. So, I needed to make sure the concept and the message what I want to deliver to people. Actually, I did create mood and audience board during the Easter Break. However, I was given answers that make sure the Target as well. It made me clearly understand. How I need to approach for my works. I wanted to develop my concept board much more abstract as I always was given the feedback from Carlyn and Suzanne being more abstract. So, as the topic is based on self. I focused on my thoughts that always think and want to change. In addition, we all had the time for peer review. I realised the purpose of this session is that kind of improvement for my perspective thoughts or get inspiration for further works. Some of my classmates mentioned that they kind of like my concept and the mood board. They said I am improved quite from minimalism to being abstract. I was quite satisfied of these feedback from my colleagues. However, I still feel that I need to be more confident and share my thoughts effectively with my classmates to improve my works. I finally relished that being independent is great but being together and share together much greater and it will help not only me but also everyone.
For this term 3, I obviously would like to develop myself much more and will pass with satisfied result for my BA.
Week 1
Session 2
In this session, it was the external trip at Barbican Centre.
Personally, I really like that place. Because of the buildings and atmosphere. I felt like it is well-matched with two elements. Moreover, before we took our own time. Carlyn brought us around the building and explained what there is what we can enjoy. Furthermore, she introduced the music video; Harry Styles took at. And then, we were given time to explore throughout the Barbican. As especially we were given to take a video and pictures for independent work. I assumed that it is going to be great place for video. And I moved on it. But, as I am not good at filming I was struggling with the direction and the way how to take a video. And It was quite difficult to avoid the sun. It was one of the most distribution elements during the work. And I moved on the taking pictures for PR events and narrative pictures. For the first time, I was not really sure what it PR events, but one of my classmates helped me to understand. Then I realised that it also will be great place to present for my zine. In addition, my team looked around for styling shoots and conservatory. However, unfortunately, it was fully booked from private events that we could get into it. But, definitely, there were so much things are really interesting. Features and buildings and atmosphere which can be the amazing elements for zine. however, I will need to understand how to film more effectively and the way taking pictures in abstract way. it will be one of my challenge and development.
